Ordering Cup Kit Tomorrow
Ordering Cup Kit Tomorrow
I finally found someone that can get the H&R Cup kit, tirerack.com is special ordering it for $684. For those of you who don't know its a matched spring/shock set (NOT coilovers) that lowers 2.0F and 1.7R. Should take 4-6 weeks for delivery. I found they are a good alternative to koni's and ..... springs given the price and the fact that they are new struts and not just inserts in the front. Peace.
You guys get me all excited..
I call H&R and the Cup-Kit is NOT out for the 2001 Civic.
I wanted to become a WD for them, and I refused cause no Cup-Kit for the 2001+ Civic.
It is stil in the R&D stages. The rep told me another month or 2.
But, I will be able to get it for you guys. And will stock it at my warehouse. I will post prices oon.

Ya just can't always believe what these shops tell ya. It is almost always a really good idea to call up the manufacturer for the truth. So far, Rob @ Tornactive has been the only honest/educated individual that I've dealt with.
Called H&R yesterday to confirm that the H&R Cup Kit will be available later this summer. They are NOT out now.
Lookin' forward to these things, because quite frankly, I'm not impressed with the GC/Koni set-up I've got now!
Rob, please let me know when you can get a hold of these Cup Kits because I'm interested.
I can be emailed at tq_jones@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Terry

That's more of a drop than the Eibach Pro-Kit or the Neuspeed Sports and both of those drops look good in my opinion. I have 18's so I'm thinking these will look sweet.
im thinking the *** end will still be way too high. if you eliminate wheel gap thats half the battle tho. i wouldnt get it cause for another 300 you could get a full coilover system and be done with it.

I'm thinking this will be a better setup as well since the struts & springs are designed from the ground up to work together, the drop is pretty good, and I've been reading too many negative things about the Koni's lately that have scared me away from using them.
