Best Coilovers for the Money?

Best Coilovers for the Money?

I'm looking for a coilover that would give a good ride, not be bouncy and not cost an arm and a leg........ones like Ground Control and stuff like that.

what's the best...next down from Ground Control.

I will repace the shocks and struts after it.

I'm going more for show than race, but I do want a nice smooth ride quality.

Ground Controls, then add to them some Koni struts. Then some Ingalls camber kits, some DC Sports strut/tie bars. Works well enough on my ride.

i went to my shop and they said that ground controls are horrible and that they are held on by 1 screw or something and that they crack and stuff dont know what parts he was talking about but he said all negative stuff so what is tha real deal on this coilovers .......
maybe it was in the past years on other model cars ...well i'm sure it was.....did GC have a bad name b4 and change up their systems????
i see that everybody in this site loves the GC's and dont see no complaints......tell me what yall think he was talking about .....

As long as you don't drop your car too low it will ride great. If you drop it too low it will blow your shocks and your car will ride like ****.

I guess ground control is fine. there's plenty other brand name things like ground controls..

a full/true coilover is way better than any of 'em.

cost is up there, but the shocks that comes with a full coilover is designed in mind with the spring being used with.. and the adjustability on those shocks? how does 16 different setting sound? (TEIN) H&R's has 4...

I'll wait for TEIN. its costy. but yeah. I think thats best. plus by the time it comes out, and for the price to be reasonable, my stock shocks would have been pretty worn... or maybe I wont even have my car anymore. who knows. lol.

if you want all out, no compromise, go for a full coilover.

GC aren't all that, next to TIEN or Endless, etc. (course price difference is like 3x)
