on the + side, the burnt film didnt damage the lens. so you can just peel it off. i tried it again with stock bulbs instead of nokya and same problem lol. finally went to projectors and they are much better at lighting the ground and i can touch the lens without burning myself.

They became dimmer with the projectors... I find that hard to believe-- or because of the stainglass paint? I thought about doing projectors, but doesnt the beam suffer in rainy dark weather?

Hey Triz,
I'm thinking of purchasing the exact Fog light kit that you have...and from the same supplier. Can you elaborate on the installation eg. Did the harness install as expected? The quality of the switch.
I saw this link for installation procedures and was wondering if this worked for the kit you purchased. (Eighth item down the page)

It went pretty much like that. Look at the connector thats under the passanger headlight. That saves having to run a wire through the firewall. I basically followed it, but didnt do the wiring of the switch the same. I got an on-off amber led lighted switch, three prongs, in, out and ground. I like it, only down side is that it doesnt beep if I take my key out with it on, it'll just keep running. But the led light is pretty bright and hard to miss when getting out. I only left it on during the day once when I first installed them kuz I wanted to show off a little or something.
Anyways, PM me if you have quetisons
