help- what alarm should I get?

hey guys..I'm goin this weekened to get an alarm installed. i need help decidin between the viper or clifford alarm ..
any help on which one is better nd which I should get would be greatly appreciated thanx

you should specify what features you're looking for in an alarm first.

both are made by DEI, so you eithers a good choice. The viper's are generally less money and less of a hassle to install. I would get the viper and use the money saved to get a solid install. The alarm is only as good as the installer who puts it in. I have a viper 791xv and couldnt be happier with it, except for the paint chipping off the remote, but you cant have everything.
