it's not a alarm....... it's a add-on.

It's this device that u hook up to one of ur channels on ur alrm brain,
it makes this sensor field that will detect movement around the car..... it's
adjustable so u can make it go off if a person is like a foot away frum ur car.
It's kool, but it's a real pain in the ***. If sumone is in the zone too long it
will go off EVERYTIME. SO think before you get this.

It's called a proximety sensor and it is an add on to any basic alarm. You can set them to go off when you stand near the car or if someone just puts there hand in the window.

Consider that everytime you go the the grocery store or the mall, someone will be parking next to you. If they load their car, have to help someone into the backseat etc, your alarm will go off. Hell even their grocery cart or baby stroller next to your car will set it off. Its not practical to expect that no one will ever approach your car under these conditions.

Plus some people will key your car or mess with it just cuz your alarm pissed them off. Its really not worth it.

DEI's Viper/Pyhton alarms are the best in my opinion they are expandable...my friend's type R has on install he hooked up the windows and the poppers to it ...imy van has a viper alarm with the voice..LOL was jokes at first but got anooying so we took off that add on.... i'm planning on getting a Viper PC series

yeah, I'm with alinla. Sounds like a drunken moron magnet too me. Would probably give more problems than good. Make some drunken foo want to mess with your ride cause he thinks the car is f*cking with him.
