My stock air box and the homemade cold air both felt an upper RPM kick. It was noticeable. After the AEM install, it seems the power comes on sooner and that upper RPM kick isnt as noticable anymore. I think it improves the midrange RPM output so that its more of a steady power increase thru the powerband.
