STP fuel injection/carborator cleaner

I just bought a bunch of this stuff, it was marked down. Do these things really help any? Get the gunk out or keep it out. Is it good to use every tank of gas?

I bought
stp oil
finish2001 wax with urethane
4 bottles of feul injection cleaner
and liquid wrench oil

for $5.00

Flashlightboy is an unknown quantity at this point
STP is ok but nothing spectacular. You got a good price and certainly there is no reason to waste the stuff.

In the future, you might want to try Techron or Redline Fuel System Cleaner which do pretty well. You can be both at Pep Boys and Techron at most every auto shop.

I wouldn't use any of it full strength at every fill up. It's too strong for continual use. Instead, through in a bottle every 2.5k miles at every 5k oil change. You can use the Redline in a reduced concentration at every fill-up however with no fear of causing damage.
