youll have to be careful but i dont foresee any MAJOR problems. But you will have to take things easy but that comes with any kit and a drop. I have a 1.8 on TeinSS coilovers and a Tanabe RSpec and have MANY close calls scraping. I havent yet but i do know its a low hanging exhaust and you need to get used to it
well im not worried about the exhaust ive scraped it a pretty good bit i just need to know will i have a problem w/ the kit scraping everytime i pull into the parking lot at work my midpipe scraps the rise into the parking lot. so do you think the body kit would scrape also

from what I have heard, when you mix and match your body kits, like going with one companys front bumper and another companys rear bumper, the difference in how low they sit on your car may make it look funny. I know it has nothing to do with scraping, but you dont want to drive around with a front bumper that sits higher than your rear bumper, it will make you car look funny, just trying to help. but you will scrape when you get a body kit because if your exhaust is allready scraping, the bodykit is going to sit lower than the muffler, so just make sure you are careful on where you drive.
thankss guys i really appreciate the help looks like i may not be getting a kit not sure yet. but i would still like to get the front end i have seen some cars w/ just the front end and i think it looks okay but that probably depends on how low that front hangs do you think the tsunami front end would look good by itself and would i have problems w/ it scraping

I think any front end would look good by itself, but I think it would scrape if your car is allready dropped and the kit does sit lower than the stock front end.
Mixing and matching kits was they way to go i have to different styles of kits on mine and i have around 6 inces of clearence.. it takes a while to get used to the kit you might scratch a few times just getting the feel of what you can get and out of.. driveways that is. well have fun fitting it toegather. member rice it out of driveways the further you turn your car to the side the better the chance of your wheel hitting the ground so it lifts your car up so that you dont scratch.

I mixed mine up. My side skirts have contacted curb once (coming off a steep driveway). Mostly the problem has been my front lip - it's deceptively low, since there's a beak that points DOWNWARD on it. I scraped it for the second time this past weekend....boo-urns.
Oh and my muffler has been scraped front to back now. This is on an H&R Sport drop, stock shocks. Front lip is a modded CWest RSX lip, sides are OEM Civic, rear is Civic Type B.

Well, you will have to do the old racers angled turns when going over any bumps, but very slow or you will scrape. I like how people with kits come up to a speed bump and then they all of a sudden turn their car hard right or left and go very slow over the bump while trying to avoid hitting the oncoming car in front of them
im dropped 3 inches and i got tsunami front and ww g5 sides and rear with a hks turbo exhaust. i scrape if i dont slow enuff. if i go to fast i will but if i take it easy then i dont. i gotta go sideways to get up my driveway and at school. i cant even get up my gf driveway. i gotta park in the street. lol you will be fine with that 1.8 drop. just go slow over bumps and you wont scrape.
