2008 Power Mirror Problem

My driver's side power mirror isn't working. Are there two fuses for the mirrors, one for the left and one for the right? If so, can someone please tell me which fuse is for the driver's side (left) mirror?

Thanks!

Look under your dash for the under-dash fuse box. Underside of the lid will tell you which fuse it is. If the fuse is good, check for broken wires inside the rubber elbow in the door hinge area.

Thanks, but my fuse panel doesn't have a cover. I looked in the owner's manual and it does describe the fuses, but the power mirror is not listed.

Re: 2008 Power Mirror Problem

The fuse is common to both mirrors. If 1 is working the fuse should be fine. I would try moving the L-R selector back and forth several times while trying to move it with the button and look for any changes. Try gently flexing the harness going to the drivers door while
attempting movement.

btw mirrors fuse is #36 10 amp under dash box.

Re: 2008 Power Mirror Problem

Thanks. I tried the moving the switch back and forth to no avail. I will try the flexing method tommorrow since the car is not in my possession currently.

I assume that if it begins to work, I will have to somehow get inside this rubber boot housing the harness and find and repair the wire.

I tried flexing the wires and nothing happened. Thanks for sending the schematic. I'll attempt to troubleshoot.
