New to forum and have question 2008 Civic LX

Hello everyone!

I apologize for my lack of knowledge about cars. Please keep in mind that I am new . I have a 2008 Civic LX that has 278,000 miles. I now have an issue/issues with the front passanger power window, sometimes it opens and closes, other times neither the driver nor passanger button functions, it is only the front passagenger window . Does anyone have any clue what can be causing this?

I am currently out of work recovering from surgery, so I am tight on money.

Thank you in advance for any information and replies!!!

Warm regards,
got2kids

Could be a faulty switch or wiring gone bad. Do you have a volt meter? Wiring schematic?

Thanks for the replies. I do not have meter or any knowledge of schematics. Also, the switches work perfectly fine and nothing seems to be sticking or jamming.

Well you can take the door panel off and see if there is anything obvious.

If you don't have any electrical knowledge it would be best to have someone look at it.

Since you are tight on money, I wouldn't worry about it. Use the AC.
