Easy question: 2015 Civic Ex: Sensor on Transmission
Easy question: 2015 Civic Ex: Sensor on Transmission
Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have a 2015 Honda Civic Ex that just recently started leaking transmission fluid. I jacked it up and inspected it today and discovered transmission fluid leaking from a loose sensor of some kind. It is on the driver side, just inside the wheel well splash shield. It has a three prong connector attached to what looks like a sensor contained right within the bolt. Does anyone have any clue what this sensor is? The Honda Haynes manual was worthless for figuring it out.
Thanks in advance.

WARRANTY?
Picture?
Manual trans or CVT?
You know the CVT requires its own special Honda HCF-2 fluid, yes?
Regular ATF or the wrong CVT fluid can ruin a really effin expensive transmission in a hurry.

It is the oil pressure sensor. I had the same problem on mine it was loose i told it was bad since it was leaking. so i got a new one and when i went to replace it was then I noticed it was loose . I still replaced it anyway. The part is a honda dealership part and cost was $88.07 no more leaking .
