2001 Civic has the Windsheild Washer Fluid warning light on. The washer fluid is FULL. Honda says it is a bad sensor. Can I order and replace this sensor (if that is what it is) myself? Please point me to correct discussion forum if I should be asking this elsewhere. Thank you.
PS. My 7 year Honda Plus warranty expires next April. Would this be covered under electrical components? It is vague in the pamphlet details.

Thanks. I'll take a peek and see what involved. Maybe even splurge for a Canadian Tire Shop Manual. Has to be cheaper than letting Honda do it!

Thanks for trying to check! But guess what? While I took my 2003 CRV in for regular maintenance, yeh, yeh, the 2001 Civic is wife's car, I asked a different Service Rep if Washer Fluid sensor is covered under Honda Plus Extended Warranty... and the guy checks and says YES!!! Previous guy says NO. Man it's frustrating knowing who to trust. So I'm going to take it in before they change their mind again!!! If it is the sensor, they'll replace it for the $25 deductible!
If it isn't the sensor, and not covered, then I pay a $95 check fee!!! But the service guy did say [quietly] that they have replaced a few of these sensors.
Thanks for all your input.
