Honda VTEC 1.7 L motor. This is from a 2001 Honda Civic, EX. It has only 149,000 miles. My other Honda has lasted over 450,000 miles, so this motor has many, many miles left.

Why am I am selling it? Because we're making an electric car! We're removing the working perfectly gasoline engine, along with other parts, such as the gas tank, exhaust pipe, catalytic converter, and installing an electric motor, batteries and associated electronics.

You can see this perfectly running Honda VTEC motor before you buy it. You can drive the car before you buy it. You buy it, then we remove it. You can even help remove it, if you want.

It's from an EX model (the high end trim), 2 door, manual transmission (not included,) 6th digit in VIN is 2.

Umm... just as a heads up, a short block d17a2 w/ 150k on the clock is worth less than half of that 750 you're asking.

Yeah, its nice to drive and hear before you buy, but I just bought a 60k mile motor for 450 last week.
