I am currently dealing with a load of electrical issues in a 1996 lx I bought. It has a 1996 civic Si B16 A2 with a race modified 5 speed transmission behind I bought it on some ones word that it was a good fast car! My first mistake the motor swap was do by I don't know who but they haven't a clue about automotive electrical so now I am left to go through and fix and rewire just about the whole thing from dash to front bumper ..all while trying to figure out what engine harness they used,I am currently trying to make sure the ECU is a vtech ECU The # is as folows 37820-p2t -A11 1170-115194 any help you could give me would be fantastic also if anyone know where i could get the correct harness adapters to go from LX non vtech to Vtech would be great!!

The ECU looks to be correct. Just to confirm, the Si was only made in 1999 and 2000, so I'm assuming it's one of those.

You're going to need a complete wiring harness from an Si.

I am currently rewiring it from the ecu forward because they did some serious garbage wiring ,They spliced wires by skinning other wires using speaker wire to do it is a mess! so I just went and bought wire and stated over! I mean it runs good but i can't drive some rolling fire hazard down the road so I am checking everything that was done! Where would be best place and cheapest to get si harness
