steering wheel controls

im wondering if there is a way to do steering wheel controls for your HU. i know for pioneer HU they have a small remote which can be mounted on it but i have panasonic and id like to find a way to have steering wheel controls. any help would be appreciated

What I did that has worked out great for me was, I used the card type Pioneer remote supplied with the units. Tacked 2 good quality Velcro one wraps (hooks on on side, loops on the other) to the back of the remote with a bit of Goop brand glue. Then the unit fits perfect on the parking brake handle. Great location, fits tight yet easy to remove or reset if bumped. I recently installed a newer head unit and this has been a great way to handle the small buttons (never need to touch them)

Yes Pioneer, I used the "card" remote supplied with most Pioneer units for quite a while now. Any remote should work. Make sure not to cover battery access.

It has worked great, hardly touch the head-unit controls.

Wow, that's a pretty simple fix I suppose!
Not so efficient for the people with manual trans though..
