Any drawback on getting a rim 10 mm wider?

Any drawback on getting a rim 10 mm wider?
so say the tire spec. is 235/45R18, and you want it 245/45/R18, and I am happy to be a rim of that wider size, would that create any problem?

also, if the original Honda tire is 235/45R18, what's the max. expanded width of the RIM I can get without creating any problem? and what's the criteria based on? for e.g., can I do 265/45/R18?
