I'm not up and up on car stuff but was hoping some fine folks on this forum could help me.

I'm buying some basic rims and snow tires for my 2009 Civic DX-G. I found an ad for a used set 195/65R15, 5 bolt pattern that were used on a 2004 civic SiR. I'm pretty sure these would work but don't want to be stuck with something I can't use. Can someone out there confirm that these used rims/tires would work?

yes. the stock size tire/rim is the same size as those. (195/65/15r)
