Block heater

Hi guys, I own a 2005 Honda civic with A D17 SOHC motor. I'm looking to install a block heater and am wondering if anyone knows where the bolt location for the installation is? I live in Ottawa Canada and the weather here can drop to -40 during the winter season... any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Block heater

I thought all Canadian 7th gens had block heaters. Every single one I’ve seen, anyway.

Re: Block heater

Don't think either of my 05s had one.
Drain bolt is on the back of the block by the oil filter

Re: Block heater

I had to have a block heater installed. It was not an original option.
