Anyone with R34 Kit AND Block Heater - Help Needed Plz

Alright, I live in Canada so sometimes my car needs to be plugged in. Except now I have the R34 kit and I can not find the plug-in to the block heater. So the question is, first, can you give me an idea where to look for the cord, eg passenger side, middle....... and secondly, did u have to take off your front bumper to string the cord thru to somewhere u could get to it everytime? any help would be greatly appreciated.... thanx

no, our civics dont come a stock block heater/ or maybe ppl in cold climates have to have a heavy duty one put in. Anyways its like an extra $215 when u buy the car... it makes an electric current around your engine or something and keeps it warmer. but i found it and i didnt have to take off my bumper so its all good

this is what i could find, its for a 2003

http://www.cheaphondaparts.com/shop/...s/AII24167.pdf

looks like its pretty small, anyways they say it allows ur car to start better in colder climates, saves ur battery and allows everything to warm up quicker. When its on it makes a real quite fan-like noise. And i guess i saw it on the net for like 50 bucks, probably american, but i paid a hell of a lot more than that when honda did it,,,, frikin honda takin me for eveyrhting im worth
