much better than mine (hail damage, some repairs needed but some leg ligament issues holding me back for a while...)

Re: 15 year milestone

I'm OCD on keeping it clean. 15 years of Canadian winters would have rotted it out if not been rustproofed regularly.

Looks great. Normally I'm only on the 6th gen forum since I have a 97. It's a DX coupe, so no A/C, no power doors/windows. Can get a bit toasty in the summer but on the plus side, no expensive stuff to fix lol.

So I'm on year 21 with mine

Not quite at 300k km, about 8k to go. Just did emissions test so I'm set for 2 more years.

Re: 15 year milestone

Sold the 2003 ACURA EL last week in a matter of hours. It had 240K kms (150K miles) on it. Too much work to put into it to pass our local MVI. Mostly just brakes, suspension and bodywork. Engine had notorious head gasket breach and repaired years ago at Honda - no problems since then. Auto trans was fine too with regular drain and fills of DW-1. Amazing little car that served me well since 2010 as second owner. Bought for $8K in 2010 and sold for $850 in 2022. Can't complain and new owner will probably fix er up and get more life out of it. Continued the ACURA/HONDA tradition and got a 2018 ACURA TLX 4-cyl A-SPEC in black again. I'll still hang around as this site is active and a good bunch of gearheads - Acura sites mainly complain about their tech gremlins
