I bought my 2001 EX stick stock with 56k on it in 2004
This past week I broke 150,000 miles. So, in 5 years(this february) I will have put an average of 20,000 miles on my ride.
This car has taken me to florida and back no problems
Gatlinburn Tennessee and back no problems.
South Carolina and back no problems.
In 5 years, my only problems were
1. dead battery
2. fuse died because I tried to start my battery the wrong way and it broke the fuse
3. had to change my timing belt.
4. My SRS light has always been on, but I don't care. There's some recall I need to go get it taken care of, but im lazy.
I <3 my honda. 40 MPG still. here's hoping to reach 300,000 on the same motor!

CONGRATS MAN!!!! i got my 92 civic dx too 170k all original parts, but it burned oil but still neve had any repairs, got 75k on my new 03hehehe

Welcome to the over 150k club. I have 172k on my 01 and I bought it in 2005 with 88k on the odometer. Mine has never left me truly stranded. Crankshaft position sensor died about 30 miles from my home in a canyon. Thats the only unelected repair I've had to do.
