Info on performance mods
Im tryign to find feedback on a few parts Im lookign at getting. I have an '01 civic dx 2dr. As of now it has a Fugita CAI and an Apexi WS2 catback on it. The next couple of mods I am looking into are an exedy stage 1 organic clutch(08801A), and an exedy lightweight flywheel(HF501). I woudl also do a B&M shifter and a braided clutch line, is it worth it to spend the $600-$700? or would I be better off spending it on a header and pulleys? or doign a cam and cam gear? Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Re: Info on performance mods
is there anything wrong with your current clutch? If not, its perfectly fine and wait till you have more power and your clutch starts to go. A header... wait on it, theres supposed to be one coming out by magnaflow for your application soon, but it hasnt dropped yet that I'm aware of- or it has rumored to have, but nobody has any info on it yet or pictures. A cam with def give some kick to your accelerator- a crower stage 1 wont require any other mods. A cam gear would allow you to adjust timing by a few degrees. Look at the exhaust FAQ link in my sig for what you should do with your header/exhaust if the magnaflow never drops or drops and turns out to be shitty. Hope that helps ya.

I used the sam ebrand on both of my rx7's, got much firmer clutch pedal feel, plus it looks awsome under the hood lol, hope this helps.

Re: Info on performance mods
By a "much firmer pedal feel" do you mean that the clutch is more difficult to push down? I don't see why that would be desirable unless your trying to give your left calf a work out. It's not like brakes which take feeling and partial application, the clutch is either in or out.

I like that clutch and FW setup you're talking about and ran it for about 6 months before strapping the turbo on my Civic's nose. Buy it, you'll like it and notice a positive performance difference.
