96 civic manual transmission, car starts wont move

I just replaced my head gasket after it failed during an overheat. Now after I replaced everything, and it starts but it seems like the clutch isn't working because I push it in to start the car but once I try to put it in gear it doesnt move but the rpms go up. Nothing happens when I pop the clutch. No stalls or bouncing forward

Check the inner CV axles to make sure they didn't pop out of the differential.

I will check to see if they did but I am worried the clutch burnt out or something. From me attempting to move my car off the freeway where it blew the head gasket.

Put it in gear with the engine off and see if it will roll

So after replacing the clutch now I cant get it to idle correctly. It starts and it sounds like it is running off. Then will kill it self before it even warms up. Also I noticed as I step on the gas the temp gauge goes up
