92 cx issues

92 cx issues
My cx has power but wont crank at all.
the dash lights up like it should but everything else is dead in the water.
I have tried to jump it... nothin.
I also tried to cross the solinoid and the starter will spin but will not engage the flywheel.
So i knw the drive is not throwing the bendix out.
But im still lost why im not getting anything when i turn a key... the starter doesnt even do what i just described.
HELP!!!

Don't pass out when you see the price. Also notice that it's more than the whole assembly ( I know, wtf ?!).
There should be a guy in your town and all he does is rebuild starters, alternators, etc. Take it to that guy and see what he says. Anything's better than $300.
