Trying to decide which motor i should put in my 93 civic. Would really like some input if you would please

k20 or k24. You can get some of them for cheap but the parts to swap it in adds up. It costs usually 2500 to swap in a k but it is totally worth it.

well i don't know about the 93 vic but on a 7th gen $2500 isn't even gonna get you all the parts (not to mention the engine.) you're looking at about $5k to $8k for a k swap. i'm looking into doing a swap myself. just trying to crunch the numbers to see if i can afford it first.

Your probably talking bout swapping in one of the expensive k series there. The k20a2 and k20a are the most expensive exceeding 4000 for the motor. You can buy a k24a1 for 600. Hell you can find the k24a2 for like 1500 and it is way better than the k20a2. The k24a1 is the best way to go and the cheapest k swap motor.

The great thing bout the 7th gen si is I can swap in a k24a1 no problem the only thing I need to buy is the rear tranni mount.

You can get one with decent mileage and a tranny for about $1000 here: http://www.car-part.com/
