I have a 92 Civic hatch with a 98 integra ls motor, turbo charged, with a fully built type-r tranny. Now dont get me wrong i love my tranny its good for racing. but i have really short gear ratios, thus its hard to have regular highway use. its always at a high rpm. so itry to avoid a lot of highway use. so ive been told to get an ls tranny which is great for a turbo daily driven car. it has the longer gear ratios im looking for. my question is this, first does this sound like the best option? Second does anybody have a low mileage 98ish ls 5 spd tranny they are wanting sell? thank you for any input
