In Need Of Advice!!!
Im new to this site, and i have a 95 civic dx. The hp and the car itself is way to slow. Can someone give me any advice on what modifications i should do to increase speed and hp. Im putting in a d16 vtec head and ive already put in an intake, headers, and an exhaust. I need advice on what other things i should do without spending a significant amount of money!!!
Your advice is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!!

Moved your thread under the generation specific subforum.
First, what is a significant amount of money to you?
Second... well, answer the first one before we go any further.

so what are you going for a mini me???---im not sure what the dx came with...d15 something right 103 hp ???...dont worry about speed worry about how fast you can get to it...if you are not thinking of spending big bucks on a turbo or supercharger then dont think you can get too far with that engine..i would say 130 tops...caming it and doing some apexi street tuning...that is if you put that vtec head in...i would go for lighting it up some..take all the iterior out and you will feel the difference...(this doesnt help if you are riding on 17s)

for a Dx motor.... basically some quick bolt ons will free up HP such as:
CAI or SRI
Upgraded exhaust (Midpipe, Downpipe, Header, muffler, Catback, etc...)
Intake manifold
Fuel rail
Fuel injectors
after this its internals and boost....

Re: In Need Of Advice!!!
engine swap would be the way to go.. you said you dont want to so i would say build the motor fully. and possible turbo if you want any type of power.
good luck
