Dash lighting problem?

Whenever I turn my headlights on at night, I have no dash lights.. It's not the bulbs, I replaced every single one to make sure.. I'm assuming a short in the wiring? Also replaced the cluster

Re: Dash lighting problem?

6th gen dimmers tend to fail. (electronics contained behind the dimmer ****)

Shorts blow fuses....you have an open.

You can bypass it and have full brightness cluster etc.

Re: Dash lighting problem?

You will have a hole.

The 6th gen manual is readily avail online (mine is at home) and you can likely find some utube info that may have the wire colors.

You will need to bypass it for bulbs to light. Make a jumper and leave the control unit in place.
