My 97 Civic was recently stolen. It has been recovered but the key area was broken and now anyone can start it by just turning the plastic switch which was part of the key wiring. I'd like to find a simple way to disable my car from starting while it is parked in my covered parking space for days at a time. Is there a simple way to to disconnect some thing to prevent my car from starting? Or is there some kind of switch I could put in to prevent starting the engine? I tried looking ta the fuses but they seem to be screwed down. I do not want to get an alarm, just a simple and easy way to prevent starting. The car is driven about 2 or 3 times a week.

I did look at the fuses but I did not see a starter fuse.

Removing the fuse is the easiest unless the robber has a spare on him haha. But you could put a wheel lock (tire of steering wheel) which prevents it from moving anywhere. You could also try and removing the coil wire. OR disconnect the battery and store the battery where a robber cant see so that it wont start
