Stock suspension ride height uneven
Stock suspension ride height uneven
I just recently bought a 97 civic ex coupe and just noticed that the left side of the car sits lower than the right when I'm not in the car. The suspension is completely stock do its not a spring adjustment issue due to coil overs etc. Just wondering if anyone else out there knows what it could be? I'll post pictures later on if needed thanks

Cars just do that as they get older sometimes, not all that uncommon actually.
The suspension could be more worn on the left than right, that would explain it.

Do a good check of the suspension, see if a shock on the left side is blown. If it's especially soft a blown shock is a definite possibility.

How exactly do you do that? I checked and none are leaking or anything. And when I did the bounce test, none excessively bounce

Re: Stock suspension ride height uneven
were you able to get service records of the car when you bought it?
struts/shocks wears overtime, some might not be blown but might become weak due to wear.
it will not cause any issues anyway, uneven height. when they finally go out, you just change them and you might find out that the car will go even again.
BTW, if previous owner was slightly "fluffy", it could explain even better the increased wear on left side, non?
