Hey guys not sure if you can be of any help but I am just a little irritated by some vibration coming from the engine bay. Usually happens around a low RPM, not idling but around 1.5 - 2K rpms. It almost sounds like it could be the heat shield over the headers? Any ideas on this? Someone with the same issue maybe. If the engine i running at the perfect RPM it creates quite the resonant frequency of vibration lol. very annoying. Any suggestions on what might be causing vibrations under the hood ? Thanks

Well have you looked at the heat shield on the manifold? Its very common, all of mine are removed. If thats not it look at the cat there is a a heat shield there too (2 pieces.) Its probably one of those... Lastly make sure the rod that holds up your hood isnt moving. My clip broke and was making noise.

haha. well i figured out what it was. While changing my oil yesterday I tapped on the exhaust pipe to hear where the rattle was coming from. Found it was a heat shield about 2/3 of the way back on top of this part that was wider than the rest of the exhaust. Not the cat, but something else? maybe a resonator or something, not sure. Anyways there was a shitty heat shield held on with an adjustable clamp. So i tightened it and what do you know its gone!.
