d16y5 help
Re: d16y5 help
I was under the impression that the D16Y5 was only found in the HX? Are you sure you don't have a D16Y8? The D16Y5 makes 115 hp while the Y8 makes 127 hp. Both engines are lack-luster... The Y5 is an even more economic Civic engine than the others from the 6th gen.
But, I'm not going to try to discourage you. I haven't ever worked on the Y5 personally. The answers you're going to get are Swap, Turbocharge, or Supercharge.
