Green drive light in dash go on and off

Hi, I have Civic 1996, SOHC VTEC, automatic transmission, and suddenly the green drive light in the dashboard started to go on and off while the enginecheck light also went on. What could that be?

That's an issue with the tranny, plain and simple. You need to get is diagnosed to see if you need a new tranny which you may very well need. Sorry bro.

Hmm, never heard about this before... You are 100% sure the bulb isnt lose or going out right?

Recently I had the same problem. I just turn off the engine, waited a minute, and then fired the egine up again. The light didn't flikker anymore. maybe you should give that a try.
