If you want to put A HEADER on your car i'd do it at the same time as you put the new exhaust on. You do not need A HEADER to put aftermarket exhaust on your car. Most exhaust kits you'll find for your vehicle are from the cat to tailpipe so the HEADER isn't even in the equation.

It makes things much simpler
That way the "is this **** gonna bolt together right" factor isn't as much of an issue
not to mention it's all nice and pretty and shiny!
Make sure to do your homework though (like I didn't and ended up having to have the local Midas shop bail me out)
