My AC system has been removed!

I recently bought a 2000 civic hx with an si motor swap, and I was stupid and didn't realize that the the previous owner took out the entire air conditioning system before he sold it to me! (I've never seen under the hood of a civic before, so I thought the radiator was just really small; I didn't know that the huge empty space next to it was supposed be the ac compressor).

I compared my car to my buddies 1997 civic ex, and the only thing I have from the ac system ac is the button in the center console. Now it's 100 degrees in the Bay Area, and I'm cooking in my car.

I seriously need ac. What are the parts I need to buy?(Compressor I know, everything else I have no idea) And how much would it cost to install?

I'm considering going to junkyards/salvage-yards to get the parts myself, then getting it installed at a shop. If not, I'm also open to getting the whole thing done by a professional shop. What kind of hit is my wallet going to take on this?

Here's the parts schematic for the compressor:

Condenser:

AC Cooling Unit:

All the pipes/hoses:

All these schematics are from a 2000 Si, I figured that's what you'd be going for if you've swapped in a B16. These should help if you go to a junkyard, just to make sure all the parts and nuts and bolts are there. I'd get a good look at your buddy's setup and take pictures, so you know what to pull off of other cars. If you know a good shop, go talk to them. The mechanic that's going to work on it can talk you through what to get. If you take it to a dealership, I bet they'll tell you you need all new parts, which will total $2649.99, plus any tax or labor they'd care to assess. So yeah, junkyard parts and a shadetree mechanic are going to be the way to go here.

I don't know exactly how much these parts are going to cost you, but I bet a Pull-your-parts yard is going to charge you for the four chunks I showed you (Compressor, Condenser, Cooling Unit, Hoses), and I'm not completely sure how much it's going to cost, so I'm not even going to guess. I'm guessing that if the previous owner took out the AC, he left the harness intact. If that's the case, this shouldn't be too much work, just replacing what he took out.

All is not lost. You can fix this.
