2002 Civic LX Sedan, Manual - EGR

I bought this car from my brother about 2 months ago. It has 190k on it, so I'm not expecting it be in top working order. But I've had problems since the first day.
The current, and most problematic issue is the car is bogging down while driving, sometimes even dying in the middle of the road. I can take off, and get through third gear, but when I get into fourth is boggs down, and sometimes dyes while driving on the road. The second issue that is bothering me that I purchased a new EGR valve, but I cannot find an existing EGR valve to replace(see pic)? Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.
I have bought a lot of new parts for it from Rockauto(purchased all quality parts, not cheap ones). Complete Fuel Pump assembly, Fuel Relay, Upstream and Downstream O2 Sensors, Both Cooling Fans, I pulled the throttle body off, and cleaned it, and then installed a new Throttle Position sensor. I ran an entire can of Seafoam through the intake. But it is still dying. I asked my brother if he had any clue, and he said something about a clutch sensor, but he couldn't remember the name of the part.

WHY would you buy one then?

Some of the engines don't have EGR and some do.

Ever do an idle relearn preocedure?

Re: 2002 Civic LX Sedan, Manual - EGR

My first suspect would be clogged catalytic converter because they cause loss power issues.

On LX is a bit harder to easily test.. loosen manifold bolts to point you open a gap and take for a short and loud test drive to see if you get a very noticeable improvement in power.

You don’t need to remove it, if it’s clogged, just giving a little opening will make big difference.

My 2003 LX did not have a EGR and the 2002 LX engine I swapped into it also did not have a egr.

LX you could take out the top O2 sensor and see if it maxes out a hundred rpm higher
