02 Coupe drivers and rear speakers not working.
I believe its a short. The speakers work sometimes but usually not. I took the door panel off and theres a nick on the speaker wire but it still looks fine. Where and what do I check ??

Check continuity from the speaker(+)&(-) back to the headunit. Also check from speaker (+)&(-) to ground for a short. While doing this test move wires and jiggle things around to simulate driving see you can get an open circuit or short to ground.

This worked. Jiggling connectors and wires behind headunit seemed to work. The rear speakers are still out though.

How was the head unit install done? Was an adapter used to avoid cutting the stock harness? Were wires just twisted together, were they soldered, or were crimping connectors used?

I know I had to redo some when I did my truck 9 years ago. That was my first install
