04 Honda Civic Drivers Side Window issues

Purchased a brand new window regulator/motor. Although it functions, it doesn't fully go ALL the way up (about 75% up!) and from there it will either struggle to finish its way up and close fully, and/or completely STOP!! Called a friend and he suggests it might have something to do with the adjustment of the cables within the interior of the door panel (who really knows..) anyways, any (and all) responses would be greatly appreciated, as it is currently under 32 degrees where i am at (COLD!!!!)

Thank you in advance!

Use spray silicone lubricant on the glass run channels. (the visible runner seals)
