Random tech cat 2.5" inlet to 2.25" manifold
Hoping you guys can help me out with this one. I bought a Random Technology cat for my '03 EX. It came with a 2.5" inlet & 2.5" gasket, but my manifold has a 2.25" outlet. Anybody ran across this before? What's the best way to adapt? Thanks!!

Did you verify the part number from Random Techs website matches your vehicle?
The flanges probably still fit together. No harm in going from a smaller diameter to a larger.

I replied to your profile message you left me. The flared inlet on the downpipe should mate properly with the doughnut gasket on the exhaust mani

I just used whatever was included in the random tech install kit...

Comes with doughnut gasket, downpipe to midpipe gasket, hardware for both inlet and outlet connections.
