Question 05 Civic LX sedan odometer dead after cluster led swap.

First off I would be grateful for any answer I can receive. Second, searching forums and google have not been forsaken: I have spent two days searching with no positive results. I just changed out the LEDs in my 05 Civix LX sedan and ran into one problem that led to another. After all lights any gauges functioned correctly, my odometer did that weird thing that showed TRIPAB 888888. I tried to fix that with the diagnostic (hold button, turn on lights, turn on car, etc; like entering a Contra code). Good thing is it went away, bad thing is now my odometer is blank. The blue LEDs behind he odometer work, but the LCD screen shows nothing. Please help. Fuses, wiring, resoldering....whatever it takes.

Disconnect your car's battery for a few minutes and see what happens.
