Hey guys! new to the forum.

My 2003 honda civic got into an accident where the steering wheel and passenger dash airbags deployed. I have a couple questions:

1. I have replacement airbags but do I need to reset or reprogram my srs module first for them to work?

2. If i install the airbags first, would I need to take them back out in order to reprogram the SRS?

3. Can reprogramming the module be done manually or do I need to buy a part?

Thank you guys so much for your help as I am pulling my hair out about this accident.

if it doesnt work u have 2 options

1. start calling around autoshops autoparts stores asking if they reprogram srs modules for honda and hope they know somebody who does.

2. order a new srs module $$$$

Hey just found this thread...I picked up a used one today for 40 bucks...gonna see if it works and post a DIY if it does...so stay tuned lol
