Help with shift boot and ****

Well I just got my shift boot and shift **** in. The **** is an SI http://www.google.com/imgres?q=civic...t:429,r:2,s:15

I am having problems with figuring out how to connect the boot to the **** and get it to look clean. Any suggestions please! I have looked around but can't really figure out what I need to do.

Re: Help with shift boot and ****

I had the same problem so what I did was find a washer that fits passed the threads on the shifter pole but not father than them, so it'll stay at the bottom. Then I put it all together and the top of the boot is held up by the washer and you can screw the **** on. The **** when screwed on will hold it all in place
