so im participating in my first autocross next month and i kinda know what to expect with my car the way it is im in the street st class i wanted stock but that wont happen with my wheels and i cant run with stock wheels because they dont compare. has anyone else on here used there 7th gen in autocross events and maybe have some pointers or words of wisdom for me. i know im not going to take first just looking to have a good time and beat my own times and get better every heat (theres 3-4 depending on turn out) i hope. just lookin to have some fun really. speeding legally in a controlled environment.

Plus the normal get there early, pass tech early, have the numbers for registration, have lots of water, easy to chew down food and sun protection.
Run like crazy when working cones and pay atttention to the cars, if your region have novice walk throughs, pay attention to what the instructor is talking.
Ah, check your battery tie-down and wear the thinnest sole shoes you can when driving, but a confortable enough to run after the cones and stand for a long time while working.

AutoX is where it's at, way more fun than drag racing imo.
My advice would just be to not push yourself to hard, make your first couple events more about learning how your car performs when putting the suspension through it's paces and building on fundamental skills, rather than getting the best possible time.

I agree i think i will get alot more out of autox than drag as well. I know my cars limits pretty well so im not gona push it hard as much as just having fun and a good time i hope. As long as the z06 croud isnt like look at the civic sedan who thinks he can drive.
