d17 a1 swap for vtec
I have a none vtec and would like to swp for vtec. i was wondering if there was somdecent understanding of the mechanics of vtec but i own a none vtec and was wondering if someone could give me as parts list for the swap or give me pointers on doing the swap. if you have any pros and cons of the swap they are appreciated. i am new to the forum but pretty well versed in the d series motors if youhave any questions for me i would be happy to help, new to this forum and found others to b of little or no help hope i can find what i need here. thanx

Its a simple swap, you just remove your non-vtec head and replace it with a vtec head. You won't get a huge hp gain from it, but it is an improvement.

Thats it. You can complete the swap for under 300 bucks and open the door to future motor mods down the line.
If your looking for a vtec head, I have one with 50-60k on it newly inspected by the machine shop and ready to bolt on- you wont find one in better condition. LMK if you dont already have one.
