Smile First Car (3 months ago)

I'm new to the boards, I just opened an account. Ive been searchin for a bunch of stuff about my first car. Tell me what you think and if it was a good choice. In the three/four months ive had it, i found rims, painted the grill and stuff like spoiler. Ive also cleared the lights thanks to a DIY I found on the forum.

Re: First Car (3 months ago)

I just bought that same car.

I like the black rims. I've been considering that too. Less spoke, more centerline though. I don't want to have to keep my brakes clean.

I painted them gunmetal (they looked like sht up close, I got them from a trade).
Im on steelies now tho for winter. and the tires on the gunmetal rims are bald so i gotta buy new ones. Ill post after winter when I get the new rims on and show before and after pics of how I painted them.

afraid in this case need to inform that the 6th gen to the 7th are different animals, actually the 01+ uses struts, not the double wishbone like the 6,5th generation or the torsion bars of the much older generations

Re: First Car (3 months ago)

Yeah, I saw after I posted it was a 7th gen. Essentially look the same though. Mines a silver 2dr coupe, it gives me the idea of how the black rims would look on mine.

Cleared headlights are ones with the side markers removed, its a much cleaner look.

Re: First Car (3 months ago)

i think the best way to modify a car is to find things that you do not like and want to be different, then you can always make a thread asking if its possible to do. the cars are getting old now so we have alot more parts selection than before.
