well like every monday here on monterrey mexico
we do some meetings in a mall close to my home
so the points its we were talkin drinkin then one guy show up and tryin to saY that d17 are **** so i said ok lets go to the high way (rigth next to the mall) of course in my mind i was thinking shiiitt!!!)

well the plan was only that b16 and me when i turn look back there were like 4 or 5 more b16 behind me and the other b16(coupe) all
then when started from a roll on 2nd gear about 4k revs
for dont make it too long the b16 just left ME about half car and raced all 2nd gear 3 and 4th gear and my car just race IT really good
my big question it, wasnt only one race it was like 3 multiply to 5(the other b16)
and averybody at least has c/h/e AND THE RESULT WAS THE SAME ONLY ONE OF MY FRIEND LEFT ABOUT THE REGULAR DISTANCE 3 CARS LOL

my mods c/h/flywheel, reguular gas

so.. Dont think d17 are ****

LoL it's hilarious how you only sensor half the swearing... I agree, these cars attract the wrong attention but a lot of it is brought on by people like this. If I raced everyone that said the D17 is **** I'd be racing pretty well all the time, because the D17s ARE ****. For racing anyway. I drive an Econocruiser and I'm willing to admit that.

I get prepositions for races all the time in my 99.99999% stock Civic. They pull up to me and they start revving their engine and raising their eyebrows and stuff... they're actually surprised when I turn them down. "Young Civic driver turning down a street race? What the hell?!?!?!"

My car has little over 100 horsepower, gets 600 km to the tank and is 100% stock.

if anyone asks me to race, i just tell them its less than 100hp bro. and they turn away without anymore talk. having a slow car has kept me out of alot of trouble.

i paid more in insurance rates when i was 18 to own a 92 civic hb then i did when i was 18 driving a 93 nissan 240sx with the dohc engine not the truck motor

-92 civic vx hb i was paying $240 liability (yes only liability, no mistakes there)
-93 Nissan 240sx $117 liability

i bought 92 civic hb after owing an 87 honda accord, civic got totalled (not my fault) the following week i picked up the 240sx...can you say WTF insurance (and it was with the same insurance company for both cars)
