Did a little searching and was able to find similar issues but not this particular one.

On my drivers door only I can Lock/Unlock the door with the OEM keyless remote

I can UNLOCK it with the key, but I cannot LOCK the door using the key or the power lock switch. It kind of goes down then jumps back up.

I took the door panel off and it didn't look like anything wasn't connected. It would seem to me if it was the actuator then the remote wouldn't be able to lock it either?

Any suggestions?

oh wow thats very strange. you can lock it with remote still right? idk if the remote and the power locks are connected directly but maybe its the power lock on the drivers door side that is broke and when you are locking you door with a key or using that switch it is switches to unlock automatically. so maybe it is the actuator acting up. idk thats my guess. but idk thats the only thing i can think of. im not an expert im just throwing ideas out there.

thats the safety feature that wont let you lock the door while its open (or when key is in the ignition or door trigger is broken. does your dome light come on when you open the driver door? if so, get inside the car and close all doors. remove key from ignition. try the lock button on the door panel. if it works, youre fine. if not, there is a mechanical issue in the panel. i have a problem where its hard to turn the key to lock/unlock, but the keyless works just fine.
