Re: Getting Started

start by removing that pinstripe and mud flaps. Then paint those drums black.A decent drop and maybe some tint would make you car look awesome. But that's just what I would do.

Re: Getting Started

Yea the pin stripe will be off soon. Windows already tinted, I'm going with a rear disc convertion. Just trying to find out from which car without change my lug pattern. What would be better coilovers or lowering springs?

Re: Getting Started

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...elled-out.html - everything you will need to know about rear disc conv. And it depends on what kinda of drop you want and how much money you have. I am just looking for a slight drop mostly for looks. I am just getting Tein S-Tech springs that lower the car 1.3''front and 1.4'' rear and matching them with Tokico Blues. But if you have the money then I would say get some Tein coilovers. From what I hear Tein is best for ride comfort and IMO that is very important. I don't want to feel every crack on the road and I dont want to be bouncing all over either. Thats my two cents

Re: Getting Started

Thanks for the help man. especially with the drums to discs spelled out. As far as lowering it I may go with what your doing with your car. I just don't wanna ride like my car is hittin speed bumps and people thinking i'm flashin them with my lights. I thank you for your input.

Re: Getting Started

Yea no prob. www.Dezod.com is a great place to get stuff for our cars. I also am a big fan of eBay, that's where I'm ordering most of my stuff. You just have to know exactly what your getting and from a reputable seller. Any question you have pretty much has been answered if you type it in the search box. Keep us posted on how everything works out!
