Newbie
Re: Newbie
goal #1: remove the big CIVIC decal going across the top of the front window. hopefully it doesnt go across the back window too. then remove that big H on the front corner. hopefully thats not on both or all 4 corners as well. now you can start with the real work.
Re: Newbie
Goes like this - post a couple threads like: how much hp gain from a sri then respond to a thread from 2004. Wait for some member to tell you to use the search function or check ur fucin manual - something along those lines. Get pissed off and start a beef with some guy across the country and swear you'll kick his *** at the bike racks after school. After sucking on Gearbox's ***** for having all the right answers - like most new guys around here you can use that info to start sharing all your new found knowledge with other posters. You then have license to be a dick, hate on others peoples style and respond to op's threads starting with: "hahaha" or my personal favorite "here we go again".
All said and done- Get some good info, read some funny $hit and come terms with your slow *** whip.

lol yup my baybee is slow but i want to build her the right way...
i like to start like a little honda club so i can meet alot of people and cruise watch races...you know see what people got under the hood
Re: Newbie

and
my goal for now is to change the grill of the honda then the head lights
go with a K Swap or find out some other engine which can atleast do 350-400hp
and be able to throw it on the ground with about the same trq....

with a low price tag

not to be no hater i just dont like the engine like the b series that has alot of horse but cant throw it down

ya feel me
so if you can help me out then cool...

but i would keep the d17 i got as a back up
Re: Newbie
but whats goal#2 then
MR.unTuned
Re: Newbie
theyre just hideously ugly, thats all.
and goal #2 is set some realistic goals. 400hp is not realistic unless you are ready to spend $15 000 or more. you will need to do a k-swap then be ready to turbo it with a high end turbo kit. are you ready to do that? and how much experience do you have with 'building' a car?

Re: Newbie
ok i dont mean to sound like a ***** here, but you dont strike me as a guy whos going to get 400hp or 380tq. if you keep talking about it guys will start flaming you. first thing you should do (after you get rid of those ugly decals) is hit up the 'forced induction and swaps' section of the site and start doing some real research on what you are really capable of doing or what you can really afford to do. there are thousands and thousands of pages of information in that section alone that explain what all is needed specifically, how much things cost, how much care it really takes, and how much expertise you really need. there are a very small handfull of guys on here who have either hit or come near that number and it is everything but easy. its also literally takes a second income to achieve as well.
