Re: Tranny swap need help

well i went to the junk yard today b4 even seeing the responses from you guys and i picked up the clutch pedal and clutch resovoir and naster cylinder. and the shifter assembly. and the manual ecu all for 49 buks.... so all i need left is the tranny and axles. obviously i know i need a clutch and flywheel that was a no brainer but do i need both axles or just one cuz i thought that one axle was able to be interchangeable to the 5speed swap

Re: Tranny swap need help

its a pain but not that much work. you need to find hidden screws.

parts

trans
flywheel
clutch
master / slave cylinder
clutch lines
subframe
axles
ecu
engine harness
shifter and cables

little bits and pieces from hondapartsunlimited.com

Re: Tranny swap need help

the front and rear engine mounts change so you need the subframe. and the manual trans has only 2 connectors instead of 6. you can prolly run with auto engine harness just have to deal with the check engine light.

Re: Tranny swap need help

the rear engine mount wouldnt change because the mount is connected with the motor not tranny. the only one i might see a problem with is the front mount but we will seee cuz ima gonna opt not to get the subframe. unless theres is a pic wer i can see the big differences and it not working
